This property is ideally situated for guests looking to enjoy the many leisure and sporting activities to be found in the mountains and around Lake Annecy. The port at Doussard is just 1.5km from the house, and offers a range of water sports from wake surfing to paddleboarding. Alternatively, take one of the regular ferries round the lake, stopping at the villages or the stunning medieval town of Annecy.
The cycle path, which runs around the lake, passes close to the villa, giving you easy access to some beautiful walks and cycle rides. Doussard is a world-renowned centre for paragliding – you can book a lesson with one of the local operators.
The village is an easy walk from the villa and has a weekly summer market, bakery, supermarket and a choice of bars and restaurants.
About the property…
This two-storey, air-conditioned villa features a large, heated pool (12 x 5m) and a hot tub with massage jets. The flat and enclosed garden faces south west, and has a large terrace with mountain views. There is also a lawned area with table tennis, badminton and a trampoline. The villa sleeps up to 8 people in 4 bedrooms.
Outside, the terrace has a barbecue and a covered dining area, as well as sunbeds and outdoor seating. There is a secure bike garage which doubles as a home fitness space with a rowing machine.
The ground floor living space features a large, air-conditioned living and dining area overlooking the pool and garden. The kitchen has a bar with stools and is well equipped, including multiple fridges, a coffee station and a range cooker. There are two air-conditioned bedrooms on this floor, both of which can be set up with twin beds or a superking bed, according to your needs. These bedrooms share a shower room with a washbasin and WC, and there is another separate WC.
On the first floor, the first bedroom (twin or superking) has an en-suite bathroom with WC and a bath with a shower over. The second bedroom (superking bed) has a private balcony, an en-suite bathroom with bath, shower and separate WC. These two bedrooms are also air-conditioned.
On the practical side, the villa is ideal for a multi-generation holiday. The ground floor and outside spaces are suitable for guests with limited mobility. There are also facilities for babies and children, and a laundry with a large washing machine and a tumble dryer. The villa has a large parking area with room for a boat/trailer.

Villa Eau Bleue is in Doussard, just 2km from the southern shore of Lake Annecy.
Lake Annecy is set between several mountain ranges in Haute-Savoie. On its shores you will find the medieval town of Annecy and charming villages such as Talloires-Montmin, Doussard and Sévrier. Considered one of the cleanest lakes in Europe, its turquoise waters and beaches are framed by Alpine peaks such as La Tournette and Le Semnoz. Its marinas, cycle paths and charming villages make it an ideal destination for nature and outdoor sports enthusiasts.
In summer, the lake becomes the focus of leisure activities. Swim, sail, paddleboard, kayak or dive in its crystal-clear waters, or cycle around the 42km cycle path which encircles the lake. Hikers can enjoy wonderful views of the Roc de Chère nature reserve or explore the Château de Duingt, perched on a peninsula. Local markets and sunny beaches are the perfect places to relax in the summer.

“We all agreed we would return!”
We have just returned from a weeks stay at Mark and Kates villa with our family including our 10 month old grandson. We had a wonderful time. The villa was perfect for our needs and we appreciated all the home comforts. As we arrived late afternoon on the Sunday when all the shops were shut M&K had very thoughtfully stocked the fridge with some basics for us. M&K went the distance for the 10 month old putting up a swing for him which he loved and providing an extra travel cot as as a safe space playpen/ also a bath seat (another big hit) and some toys. A short walk from the villa was the cycle track which went around the lake, the paragliding landing site, small beach and the nature reserve. We hired bikes and had a great time cycling and the children all did the paragliding, we sat at the landing site waiting for them with a coffee and a beer. We had lovely meals at Bistro Jeanne (5 min walk) and La Ferme at Col de la Forclaz. It was such a success!

We had a wonderful stay at this house in Doussard. The hosts were amazing – they were so accommodating and even adapted to a late change in our circumstances, which made everything so much easier for us. The house itself was perfect: spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The pool and BBQ area were ideal for relaxing and enjoying meals together, and the bedrooms were excellent with very comfy beds for a good night’s sleep.
Doussard is a quiet but beautiful spot, with a lovely market every Monday that’s well worth a visit. It was the perfect location for a peaceful break, and we had a fantastic time.
“Well-equipped, practical, and very well-located house”
Mark and Kate were very communicative and gave us clear instructions on everything to do with the house.
The house is in a great spot very close to the cycle path which we used a lot as we hired bikes from K2 just across the road. The view from the garden is amazing with mountains surrounding the house and the pool and hot tub were lovely.
It was a great base away from the crowds of Annecy but with loads of activities such as canyoning and watersports on the lake close by.
The house had plenty of provision for cooking and the outdoor kitchen was useful as was the garage for storing the bikes.

Villa Eau Bleue can accommodate up to eight guests in a setting that invites you to slow down and enjoy the good life, centred around its large swimming pool and spacious garden.
Depending on the season, the focal point of your stay will shift naturally between the cosy, air-conditioned living room, with its comfortable sofas and television, and the impressive outdoor terrace. Here, you will find a heated swimming pool (12 x 5 m) and a hot tub with massage jets, set within a flat, enclosed south-west facing garden with mountain views.
A trampoline, table tennis and badminton provide plenty of opportunities for family fun.
The terrace also features a barbecue, a covered dining area, as well as sunbeds and outdoor seating, perfect for long, relaxed days outside.
All four double bedrooms are air-conditioned. Three of them can be arranged as either superking or twin beds, offering great flexibility depending on your group.
Two bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, while the others share a shower room.

In Doussard, we found and renovated our dream holiday home, surrounded by mountains but close to the village, the cycle path and Lake Annecy.
Villa Eau Bleue reflects the mountains in its beautiful swimming pool. The terrace and garden are designed for socialising, relaxing, playing and eating together.
